On September 4th, representatives from various agricultural machinery service cooperatives in Suzhou, Changshu, Kunshan and other places participated in training and learning on the demonstration and promotion of the "Rapeseed Blanket Seedling Joint Transplanter" at Yunma Company. The training course was presided over by Hu Hai, Director of Yancheng Agricultural Machinery Technology Promotion Center, and relevant leaders from Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Suzhou Agricultural Machinery Promotion Station, and Dafeng District Agricultural Machinery Technology Promotion Station jointly participated in the activity.
During the training, Wu Jun, assistant researcher of Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Luo Hanbing, sales manager of Yunma Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., respectively carried out technical training on the topics of "rape mechanized transplanting technology" and "rape blanket seedling mechanized seedling raising technology".
The attendees jointly visited the on-site operation demonstration of the factory's intelligent seedling and sowing production line.
Wu Jun, assistant researcher at the Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, explained in detail the key steps of the seedling and sowing assembly line to the on-site observers.
Arriving at the rapeseed transplanting machine assembly workshop, Wu Jun emphasized the transplanting efficiency and applicability of the rapeseed blanket seedling combined transplanting machine. This machine can complete joint transplanting operations such as rotary tillage, stubble planting, open bed construction, segmented compaction, flat bed cutting, cutting and transplanting, soil compaction, watering and seedling protection in one go. The planting row spacing and plant spacing can be adjusted, and it is suitable for transplanting leafy vegetables such as rapeseed, green vegetables, mustard greens, celery, chili peppers, etc., with an operating efficiency of 4-6 acres per hour. Since its mass production in 2022, this machine has been promoted and applied in more than 10 provinces, cities, and districts across the country.
Currently, there is a lack of suitable crop rotation for transplanting late rice rapeseed, coupled with pain points and difficulties such as manual transplanting costs and labor, which urgently require the demonstration and promotion of rapeseed mechanized planting technology to lead the development of rapeseed mechanization. The two technological equipment developed by Yunma Agricultural Machinery Company have extended the industrial chain from seedling cultivation to transplanting technology, providing strong technological support for the expansion and increase in yield of rice stubble and rapeseed, as well as the utilization of winter fallow fields.
In recent years, the company has undertaken several key research and development projects in Jiangsu Province, including the research and development of high-efficiency seedling transplanting equipment for rapeseed (vegetables) (BE2018346), and participated in multiple national and provincial key projects such as the sub project "Research and Development of High speed Automatic Transplanting Technology Equipment for Rapeseed (2017YFD0700804)" under the "13th Five Year Plan" national key research and development plan. The company has also carried out technology demonstrations and promotion in provinces and cities such as Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, and Jiangsu as "windows".
